Sentinel Law — Access to Justice for All

Sentinel Law is a voluntary community project. We do not provide formal legal representation. Information shared is for guidance only and does not constitute legal advice. Always consult a qualified solicitor for your specific circumstances.

Community Legal Advocacy

Justice is not a
privilege.
It’s a right.

Sentinel Law is a volunteer-led community project providing free legal guidance on human rights, fraud, criminal law, and judicial review — for those who would otherwise go without.

Our Mission

Sentinel Law exists because the justice gap is real. Legal aid cuts, rising costs, and a complex system leave countless people without representation. We are a community of volunteers — lawyers, paralegals, students, and advocates — committed to changing that, one case at a time.

How We Help

1
Reach Out

Submit a brief description of your situation through our contact form or by email. There’s no obligation, no cost, and no judgment — just an open door.

2
Initial Review

A volunteer from our network will review your matter and respond within 5 working days to clarify the issue and assess what assistance we can offer.

3
Guidance & Support

Depending on your situation, we can provide written guidance, help you understand your options, assist drafting correspondence, or direct you to specialist services.

4
Ongoing Advocacy

Where capacity allows, volunteers may provide continued support throughout proceedings — helping you navigate letters, hearings, and decisions step by step.

Am I eligible?

We prioritise those who cannot afford professional legal advice and whose access to justice is at risk. You may be eligible if:

  • You cannot afford a solicitor
  • Legal aid has been refused or is unavailable
  • You are facing a public body or institution alone
  • Your human rights are at risk
  • You are unrepresented in criminal proceedings
